For southern New Hampshire residents who want to take a walk or a bike ride through nature, the Londonderry Rail Trail has been a welcome addition. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Verani Realty (Verani) is a neighbor of the rail trail, and recently held a celebration on the trail to present Londonderry Trailways, a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to improving access to recreational trails in Londonderry, with $2,500 to help expand it.

John MacGilvary has been promoted to vice president of sales for Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Verani Realty (Verani). In addition, Maggie Kerkhoff and Deb Sutton were named managers of Verani’s Londonderry office. MacGilvary has over 30 years of sales and marketing experience and most recently managed Verani’s Londonderry office. While manager of Londonderry, he oversaw a team of over 150 real estate agents. As managers, Kerkhoff and Sutton will be handling compliance, onboarding and training programs, recruiting new agents, and building Verani’s professional presence in the region.
It is a seller’s market in many regions of New Hampshire and Massachusetts, and that means selling your house may happen quickly. VeraniCARES, the philanthropic and social development arm of Verani, recently participated in Live United – Over the Edge, a joint fundraising effort among 10 local nonprofits that involved rappelling 24 stories down the side of the Brady Sullivan Tower on Elm Street in Manchester.
As the saying goes, hindsight is 20/20. When you’re a homebuyer it’s natural to be worried that once you close on that home you will have regrets about your decisions.
