The average price of rent in New England, and across the country, continues to inch upward, yet many of those renters admit they are afraid to buy a home. In a recent survey conducted by Bankrate.com, almost half of the renters polled said that they have avoided purchasing a home because they don’t think their credit is good enough for them to be able to qualify for a mortgage.
